Set of three turned solid brass candlesticks, characterized by a modular cylindrical construction and a formal balance typical of 1970s Scandinavian design. The stacked volumes, alternating solid bases and slender stems, create a sober and rigorous architectural silhouette.
These models were designed in 1976 by Thelma Zoega (1922–2014), granddaughter of Carlos Zoéga, an emblematic figure of the Swedish coffee company Zoégas, to mark the brand's 90th anniversary. Production was carried out in Sweden, in a commemorative context, explaining the presence of the Zoéga marking engraved on each piece.
The set perfectly illustrates the functional Scandinavian design of the era, where geometric simplicity and material quality take precedence over any ornamentation.
