Oil lamp from the L47 series designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd AB in the 1960s.
It consists of a cylindrical reservoir in solid brass and a large lampshade in blown glass in amber honey color, topped with a thin chimney in clear glass.
The whole illustrates Scandinavian modernist rigor, tempered by the warmth of amber glass typical of Swedish design of the 1960s.
