Oil lamp from the L47 series designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd AB in the 1960s. It consists of a cylindrical reservoir in solid brass and a large lampshade in blown glass in amber honey color, topped with a thin chimney in clear glass. The whole illustrates Scandinavian modernist rigor, tempered by the warmth of amber glass typical of Swedish design of the 1960s.

STATE : Lamp never used. Some slight signs of oxidation related to time, without deformation of the brass. Glassware in perfect original condition, original wick present. Manufacturer's label still in place under the base.
