The great Scandinavian ceramic workshops of the 1960s produced some of the most sought-after pieces of Nordic design—and this lamp signed by Inger Persson for Rörstrand is a striking example.
The base is made of natural stoneware and glazed in a deep turquoise blue, enhanced with hand-incised decorative striations. This contrast between natural raw clay and glossy enamel is characteristic of Inger Persson's work. The lamp is signed on the reverse and retains its original electrical wiring. Sold with its bamboo and rattan slat lampshade.
