Angelo Brotto (1914-2002), Venetian artist, is famous for his lamps and glass work. Graduating from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia in 1941, he created frescoes in Montenegro for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His works have been exhibited at Peggy Guggenheim in Venice. In the 1960s and 1970s, his collaboration with Esperia of Murano distinguished him as an innovative lighting designer.
