A large (48 cm high) rope table lamp, crafted in the style of the duo Adrien Audoux & Frida Minet. A later piece (1970s–80s), unsigned, but beautifully made with a regular braid and a base formed by a spiral knot. The overall design has a fluid line typical of rope creations inspired by Provençal modernism.
Sold without lampshade.

Audoux & Minet, leading figures in French modernist design of the 1940s and 50s, favored the use of readily available materials such as rope and tubular metal. Associated with the spirit of the UAM (Union of Modern Artists), they created a recognizable style: simple structures, woven abaca, and functional, democratic design, disseminated from their workshop in Golfe-Juan, at the heart of a vibrant artistic scene. Pieces produced in their style proliferated from the 1960s to the 1980s, perpetuating their aesthetic.
