Gustaf Leek (1923-1986) collaborated with the Swedish glassworks Orrefors, founded in 1898, in the 1960s. This company was already renowned for the quality of its crystal and its expertise in art glassmaking.
During this collaboration, Leek, with his clean, avant-garde style, brought a new perspective to the company's traditional techniques, creating works that highlighted the transparency and light effects of crystal.
