Solid bronze tripod table lamp designed by Elizabeth Garouste (born in 1946) and Mattia Bonetti (born in 1952), French production around 1980.
The sculptural base rests on three curved feet ending in spheres, forming an organic composition characteristic of the duo's formal vocabulary in the 1980s. The slender central shaft contrasts with the biomorphic base, creating a visual tension typical of their approach between fine craftsmanship and postmodern design.
The bronze has a warm golden patina, with signs of wear consistent with its age. Stamped “BG” under one foot.
