Carved wall mirror in gilt wood, inspired by the Louis XV style, characterized by a symmetrical rocaille decor. The composition is structured around a central shell at the top, extended by scrolls and volutes typical of rococo decorative vocabulary.
The gilding presents a slightly nuanced patina, with visible micro-wear that enhances the decorative character of the whole without altering its readability. The mirror retains a balanced silhouette, suitable for wall installation in an entryway, bedroom, or above a piece of furniture.
Decorative production from the 1960s, reinterpreting 18th-century codes in an accessible version, intended for interior furnishings.
