Pair of solid travertine table lamps, rectangular in shape, characterized by a sculpted diagonal groove decoration on the front. The stone displays its natural cavities and sandy beige nuances typical of travertine, enhancing the mineral and architectural aspect of the whole.
This pair is part of French production from the 1970s–1980s, influenced by European research into sculpted stone and geometric forms. The carving work and incised motif evoke certain Italian productions from the Volterra region, particularly those from workshops such as Cerri Nestore, although a precise attribution cannot be confirmed.
The set offers a sober and structured aesthetic, typical of modernist and brutalist design.
Sold without lampshades.
